Fees and Charges (in renminbi yuan)      (22 5 2008)

Ordinary Member: ( valid for12 months )

Joining Fee:    300 yuan ( non-refundable)

Subscriptions:  2,000 yuan minimum spending, payable in advance.  Member will receive 2,000 yuan-worth of water sport coupon.

Full Member:  Full membership is available to person who owns a boat (maximum 16 feet) and keeps the boat at DSC hardstanding.

Joining Fee:    500 yuan ( non-refundable).

Subscriptions:  500 yuan per month which includes storage charge for one boat

              payable bi-annually in advance, i.e., 2,400 yuan/6months.  The storage charge may be revised from time to time. The boat will be held in lien if storage charge payment is in arrears.

Guest:         Members may bring guest(s) to DSC but each guest will be charged a minimum spending of 300 yuan for that day.

Damage and Loss: Members agrees to take reasonable care of DSC property and will indemnify DSC in case of loss or damage.

Boat Rental Charges

A fleet of boats is available to DSC members for rental. Boat is rigged and ready for launching.  Members should book in advance.

Helmsman

DSC can provide helmsman at the rate of 50 yuan/hour.

Training Courses

DSC runs regular training courses for her members.  These courses are held in small groups by experienced instructors, so that the students may gain maximum benefits.Courses are normally held over consecutive weekends. Lunch and breakfast included. DSC is happy to book local accommodation for our participants.

Basic Course (4-Day)

A comprehensive course that covers all the basic sailing skills.  At the completion of the course, the student should be able to sail a dinghy competently.

Fees:  4,000 yuan/person, 4 to 6 students per course.

Intermediate Course (3-Day)

For those wishing to broaden their knowledge of seamanship and to hone their sailing and racing skills.  Rig tuning, sail trims, navigation, safety, weather, and other topics will be discussed in details.  A variety of boats will be used.   

Fees:  4,000 yuan/person, 2 to 4 students per course.

Sailing Skill Assessment

An evaluation carried out prior to a member taking a boat out by himself.  Any weak areas will be addressed, local conditions pointed out and recovery procedure will be practiced.  Not applicable if the Member has completed a Basic Course with

DSC.      Fees:  500 yuan/hour

One-on-One Instruction

For those who wish to make maximum progress within the shortest time. This course is conducted by our senior instructor and is tailored-made for the busy executives. 

Fees:  700 yuan/hour, minimum 3 hours per session
